What Lehi Parents Are Saying

"It was my son’s first visit to the dentist and it was AMAZING! We originally went in for a lip and tongue tie consultation and found that he didn’t need a revision (YAY!) then the good news kept piling on lol. My son has no cavities and all his teeth are coming in appropriately. He felt safe and was able to see the x-rays of his teeth and he was really happy being there. Any place that can make my son feel this safe on the FIRST visit has our loyalty as customers and as patients. THANK YOU for taking GREAT care of my son, for answering all of my questions and for explaining things to him and making him feel as safe and happy as he did. 10/10 ✨"
Sila
"This is the best place to come if you are worried your infant isn’t nursing well because of a lip or tongue tie. They first evaluate how well your infant can lift their tongue and do other things that would effect eating. They save time to do the procedure that same day if it is needed so you don’t have to put your infant through another trip to the dentist. After the procedure I got to go into another room and spend time with a lactation consultant! That was SO helpful!! Someone finally understands what mothers need! What a great support to someone trying to be successful in a challenging breastfeeding situation. THANK YOU!"
Amy
"I can't say enough good about this place!! My seven-year-old daughter broke her permanent front tooth months ago. After going to another dentist it was repaired but it honestly did not look good. It did not look natural. When it broke again last night, we instead went to see Dr. Richter at Dry Creek Dentistry. I can't say enough how grateful I am for his amazing ability to fix that tooth! It looks perfect and so natural that it's hard to tell that it was ever broken! I am so grateful!"
Laura
"I love how caring and patient Dr. Richter and Dr. Karren are with my kids, who aren’t the easiest (anxiety, panic, etc). The laughing gas is life-saving and I’m so glad they have a laser for cavities! It’s totally worth my 25-minute drive to go to this office. Would recommend! I wish I could go here as an adult, too 🤣"
Alexandra
"My kids absolutely love going to Dry Creek Pediatric Dentistry! They get jealous if one of them “gets” to go and the other doesn’t. DCPD makes every part of the experience fun and comfortable for the kids. Every member of the staff contributes to the positive environment!"
Elise
"This office and staff is one of the very best in Utah! When I take my daughter here I feel at ease knowing she’s in the best hands. Excellent dental work, amazing staff, and zero discomfort for my daughter that had pretty major work done. Grateful to have found Dry Creek for my child."
Lindsay
"This is the third pediatric dentist we have tried with our kids, and I’m so happy to say we don’t need to look any further! Their cleanings were so efficient, and the staff was AMAZING. My 8-year-old daughter has cried at the dentist every appointment up until now, but when we got in the car today she told me she can’t wait to go back! I couldn’t be more grateful to find a place that takes care of my kids and makes going to the dentist something fun and enjoyable!"
Emilee
"My kids love going to the dentist! They have such a great atmosphere and make things fun. They’re organized and quick. We no longer have dental insurance and have been using their in-house plan, it’s affordable and works great for our needs!"

Frequently Asked Questions

When should my child first see a pediatric dentist?

Your child should visit the dentist by their first birthday. Early visits let us check how teeth are coming in, catch problems early, and help your child get comfortable with the dentist before they need any treatment.

Can I stay with my child during the visit?

Yes, you're invited to join your child at their first visit so the dentist can meet you and talk through any concerns. At later visits, some children do better when parents wait in the reception area, and we'll help you decide what works best for your child.

Do you offer sedation for anxious kids?

Yes. We offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide), conscious sedation, and general anesthesia. The right option depends on your child's age, health, and the treatment they need, and we'll walk you through it before any appointment.

Do you treat tongue ties and lip ties?

Yes. We evaluate infants and children for tongue- and lip-ties, and when a revision is needed, we use a dental laser, which typically means less bleeding, no stitches, and quicker healing.

Do you see children with special needs?

Yes. We care for patients with special needs, and options like conscious sedation and general anesthesia can help when a child needs extra support to finish treatment comfortably.

Do you accept dental insurance?

We accept most dental insurance plans. Call us at 801-766-2266 with any questions about your child's coverage.
