Pediatric Dentist in Lehi
It’s as important for the children we see to have a positive experience as it is to complete their dental work. We strive to make every experience a positive one!
Meet The Dentists
Branton J. Richter, DDS
I grew up and graduated from High School in Bountiful, Utah, received a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a pre-dental emphasis from Brigham Young University, a DDS degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota.
During my two year pediatric residency, I was chosen to be Chief Resident. My specialty training included Oral Conscious Sedation, General Anesthesia in a hospital setting, Craniofacial/Cleft Palate exams, consultation, diagnosis and treatment, Pre-Orthodontic treatment and all other aspects of pediatric care. I enjoy staying current on new techniques, procedures, and treatments that help us care for your child’s dental needs more effectively. We especially love being able to utilize Laser Dentistry! I love helping kids have a fun time and a positive dental experience.
I am married and have four children. We like playing games, going for walks and watching movies. My personal hobbies and interests include computers, skiing, Star Wars, BYU sports, reading and puzzles.
Benjamin D. Karren, DMD
I was born and raised in Southern California where I grew up surfing and skateboarding. After high school I spent 2 years serving the people in Portugal. I worked (and skied) my way through college at Sundance. I received my undergraduate degree from BYU and attended the University of Pittsburgh for my dental school training. I was accepted to the University of Southern California for my Pediatric Dental Residency. I received ample training in oral sedation, hospital dentistry and behavior management techniques.
Upon graduation from USC, I moved to Tennessee where I had the rare opportunity to treat thousands of children in a hospital setting under General Anesthesia. After 6 years I then moved to Austin, Texas where I spent 5 years practicing in a private office setting. I love working with kids and their families, making going to the dentist fun and not scary. I have recently discovered laser dentistry and love it! I am able to improve the experience that our patients have now and wouldn’t have it any other way!
My wife Kate and I have three amazing children. We are so excited to settle here in Utah after many years living far away from our families. In my spare time, I like to run and ride my bikes. Now that I’m in Utah, I can’t wait to get back to skiing and snowboarding. I love spending time with my family and look forward to all that awaits here in Utah.
At Dry Creek we like to think that we have the greatest staff on earth.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in the dental field for 13 years and most of that time in pediatric offices! I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love kids! In October 2002, I married my high school sweetheart and since then we’ve had four kids of our own. They continue to amaze us and keep us light on our toes. They are our cardio! We are Disney die-hards, love to camp (Well, I’m getting there. So…the mountains have a lot of dirt…), and eat out/love food way more than our budget or waistbands want us too! I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet all our cute little patients and love the energy and fun they bring to our office!
I moved to Utah as an adult from California. As a child, my father was in the air force so my family had the opportunity to travel. I still love to travel, but I don’t do it as much now that I have a family of my own. My favorite thing to do is spend time with them. And when we have the time, we go visit my family in California. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies and reading. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you and your family.

I was born in California’s Bay Area and moved to Utah shortly before starting Junior High in Highland! I’m a slight perfectionist so dentistry has always caught my interest. I graduated from Dental Assisting school in 2013 and have been part of the Dry Creek family ever since! I am a kid at heart so I have the best job being able to come spend time with your cute kids all day. I met my husband at Utah Valley University. We enjoy going on adventures together and spending Tuesday nights at the movie theater for $5 Movie Night. I’m an avid taco eater, sheep-lover, and dream of mastering Brazilian Jiu Ji Tzu after graduating college.
I was born in Provo and was raised in Pleasant Grove. I’m currently attending Utah Valley University for my Bachelors of Science degree in Business. I love cooking, 4-wheeling, and rock climbing. I got married in 2017 and my husband and love traveling and having random date nights in down town Provo.
I grew up in Mapleton, UT but before starting high school, my family moved to Eagle Mountain. I graduated from Westlake High School and Dental Assisting school in 2014. I am the fifth of seven children. I love sports and enjoy being outside. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m so excited to know and work with your kids!
I love running, hiking, and fishing! Basically anything that has to do with being outdoors. I have been a dental assistant for a little over 6 years and have only worked in pediatric offices. I love working with kids and being around so many different, unique personalities.
I was born in Arizona and moved to Texas when I was 6. We then moved to Utah 4 years later. I enjoy riding four wheelers and doing anything outside, which makes Utah a great place to live! I love my nephews and play with them whenever I can. I love working with kids and being a dental assistant.
I was born in Bellevue, Washington and moved to Utah when I was a toddler. I grew up in the area and graduated Lone Peak High School in 2016 and am currently attending the University of Utah. I love to read, travel, and go boating. I love working in the dental field and meeting all of your wonderful children!
I have lived in Utah for all of my life. The mountains have my heart but I love the beach as well. I could sit on the beach for days! Disneyland is my favorite place in the entire world! I’m a tiny human but I have a BIG voice! I love anything that has to do with space, criminology, and cooking/baking. If I had to eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be pasta. I love traveling and I want to travel the world. One of my dreams is to see the Taj Mahal in India. I love shoes and my favorite brand of shoes is Vans-I have close to 30 pairs! I would rather be with kids than with people my own age which is why I’m in pediatrics. I love getting to know your kids and working with them is so fun!
I love to read and watch movies and try to spend most of my down time with my boys. Hawaii has been my favorite vacation, but I hope one day that I can go to Europe. I love learning the silly personalities of kids and relearning simple lessons that they teach me.
I was born in American Fork but lived all over Colorado until I was 6. We moved back to Cedar Hills and I graduated from Lone Peak High School and have been a dental assistant since I graduated MATC in 2017! I was born in December so naturally my favorite season is Winter. I have always loved sledding and skiing. I’m even that weird person who enjoys scraping snow off my car! The way to my heart is with a Fresh Balsam candle from Bath and Body Works. I love to make people laugh! It’s probably my favorite thing EVER! What made me want to go into the Dental Field was my Orthodontist! The whole process was so fascinating and seeing how much my smile changed and made me more confident, inspired me to make others love their smile too! Working in Pediatrics is the BOMB! All of your kids are so funny and always seem to make me smile! There is always a good story at the end of the day!
I grew up in Eagle Mountain, UT and graduated from Westlake High school and Dental Assisting school in 2014. I met my husband while attending Snow College and we now have two little boys who keep our lives full of adventure! I’m a big fan of a clean house and traveling with my loved ones. I love getting to know all our patients and seeing their fun personalities!
I grew up in Pleasant Grove, UT where I learned to love sports. I spent most of my time playing soccer and volleyball growing up. I graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 2015 and served an LDS mission in calgary Canada a little after. I completed my Dental Assisting program in Logan, Utah. My husband and I love competition whether it’s snowboarding or playing sand volleyball. I love high fitness, the beach, and baking! I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
